RAD Team Manager recruitment

The Group Finance IT RAD Manager heads a global team of highly skilled business-facing developers, and is responsible for leading the RAD governance process across a global client base, for recruiting, guiding, and monitoring the development team, and for specifying and maintaining the common standards and platform used by the development team.

Change requests are reviewed via the governance process to ensure the capture of well-defined business benefits, design-approval of the proposed solution, and detailed effort estimates in ranking work for scheduling.

As the successful candidate you will recruit, on board, and lead a team of 6 to 12 developers, a team that fluctuates in size depending on special projects underway within RAD. The RAD team members are experienced developers with the ability to interact directly with the business to conduct requirements analysis and progress deliveries.

You will own an application suite comprised of non-standard legacy applications and RAD-Standard applications built with Microsoft technologies, requiring strong hands-on expertise with C# and SQL Server, and Oracle. You will be tasked with ensuring that new requirements are deployed to the appropriate existing application, and that every opportunity is taken to decommission existing applications, with an emphasis on non-RAD-standard, legacy applications, such that the overall RAD application estate is flat or declining every year while still meeting growing client expectations.
