Radio Systems Architect provided in a well-established start-up company based in Cambridge/Essex UK.

The Radio Systems Engineer should have sold experience with WiFi, Zigbee, Bluetooth and GPS in a commercial environment. Ability to design and mathematically analyse bespoke communication systems and also use tools such as Matlab is essential.
The company is a competitive consultancy and requires the best engineers to come on board. You will have an Honours Degree typically in Electronic Engineering or Physics from a well-recognised University.

You will have the following skills:

• Able to design and mathematically analyse bespoke communication systems independently and also using tools such as Matlab
• Able to design the architecture of a wireless system from a blank sheet of paper
• Able to effectively perform requirements capture and write documentation
• Able to generate air interface protocol specifications
• Knowledge of current air interface standards used for wireless communications including some or all of : WCDMA, LTE, GSM, WiMAX, WiFi, Zigbee, Bluetooth, GPS
• Be comfortable with working at all levels of a system from architecture design though to practical hands-on working in the lab or field
