Rates system migration analyst (63290)
A top tier investment bank is looking for someone to join their Interest Rates Trade Control team to look after the migration process. The Rates Middle Office function spans Rates Derivative, Cash and Credit derivatives. Rates Middle Office migration/change lead will be the global lead for Rates in delivering key projects in functionalisation and migration strategy. Functionalisation aims to bring similar functions across middle Office to provide a functional business support model.
Key responsibilities include:-
- Coordinate Functionalisation of Rates Middle Office with other asset classes.
- Coordination of Rates Middle Office migration strategy
- Risk analysis of functions to be functionalised/migrated
- Budget management for migration strategy
- Implementations through the project lifecycle (analysis / design, testing, rollout and hand-over) working with other teams on a local and global basis.
- Working with user representatives to determine business requirements. This must involve a thorough consideration of all implications of these requirements to the business, including the identification of any potential issues or functional omissions.
- Liaise with the central projects team to assist in the initiation, planning, tracking and delivery of projects and work streams. Consistency in working with IT groups to convert requirements into specification and appropriate solutions.
- Tracking, reporting and communicating progress and any issues to key stakeholders and senior management.
