Rates Valuations (Junior VP) recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Manage independent price testing and reserving for Interest Rate Derivatives business.
- Review significant deals, identify and resolve valuation concerns if any
- Reviews new product and models for Rates business
- Consolidate, Report and escalate issues to senior management.
- Identify control enhancements and process improvements.
- Develop new/revised independent pricing methodologies for products/markets globally.
- Consolidate and escalate valuation related issues to senior management and market risk.
- Review reserving methodologies for existing products.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant valuation experience in an investment bank.
- Appreciation of valuation control concepts and requirements relating to derivative trading activity in an investment banking environment.
- Familiar with valuation of Rates and FX derivative products and hands on experience with financial models
- Strong academic background and academic record
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
