As the Rating Agency Advisory Practice U.S. Leader you will play a significant role in the global Rating Agency Knowledge Network, work to deepen BCAR and SPCAR integration into risk transfer analyses, actively monitor rating agency communications, contribute to publications, and help prioritize deployment of rating advisory expertise across clients and prospects.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Play a significant role in the establishment and leadership of an active global Rating Agency Knowledge Network;
- Work with regional Analytics teams to deepen BCAR and SPCAR integration into MetaRisk (our capital model), and in risk transfer analyses;
- Contribute to the maintenance, enhancement and training on rating agency tools and templates;
- Actively monitor AM Best and SP directives and criteria, for: timely production of client alerts; broker engagement and collaboration to identify risk transfer opportunities; development of internal execution protocols and process.
- Contribute to publications, both internal and external.
- Participate in strategic prioritization with Americas regional leadership regarding deployment of rating advisory expertise in RFP's and renewals.
Qualifications:
- A degree in insurance or related field such as actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics or finance.
- Ten or more years industry experience.
- Three or more years of rating agency experience including rating relationship leadership.
- "Self starter" with strong organization skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
