Build a working knowledge of crop insurance policy and procedure; with guidance, review and process basic crop insurance documents associated with the procurement of MPCI, Hail and Named Peril insurance; follow established SOPs to resolve basic CI*Max suspensions - may work with more experienced team members on more complex suspensions; monitor the status of suspended documents and ensure that the required information is received and timely processed in accordance with established SOPs and RMA procedures; with guidance, gather information, compile data review output, and compose and distribute correspondence to agents and policyholders; may respond to basic policy and procedure questions from agents and field staff - escalate to more experienced team members as appropriate; participate in internal training meetings; assist with claims processing during peak claims processing workloads as directed by supervisor; create and maintain HEAT tickets to document software issues or enhancement request and communicate with agent regarding status. Basic Qualifications: 6+ months general office or administrative experience. Minimum Qualifications: Detail-oriented; good organizational skills. Experience with PC's including Windows and Microsoft Office. Keyboard and 10 key data entry skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively handling multiple priorities in a timely manner. Customer service and phone skills. Preferred Skills: Insurance background. Crop Insurance Experience.
