RCN Rotating Equipment Specialist (m/f)

for the department Operations for our Air Separation Units in the Region Continental and Northern Europe

The purpose of this position is to continuously improve reliability, efficiency, maintenance and safety of rotating equipment in order to become a world class operation.

The principle responsibilities are:

• Focus on operating and maintaining of existing machinery
• Implement in-house expertise in the maintenance of rotating machines throughout the RBU
• Optimize the maintenance spend on spares
• Take care of emergent events and supervise the rectification of failed equipment
• Work with Global Operation support platforms on rotating equipment reliability improvement projects, troubleshooting diagnostics and exchange of knowledge and know-how
• Give support for rotating equipment reliability reviews and technical due diligences
• Provide expert input to GBU Tonnage Business Development/Project Execution
• Leverage and lead the CBM improvement program in RCN
• Work with the ROC’s and/or field and outsourced maintenance service providers
• Advise maintenance community to ensure that CBM findings are fully represented in the maintenance /turnaround scoping process
• Continuously develop CBM best practice by plant category and equipment type
• As the EAM deployment continues ensure that all CBM activities, are managed through the EAM system and that plant and equipment CBM histories are properly recorded
• Implement a regular reporting and tracking about the status of all CBM issues/topics
• Work with Procurement to ensure that maximum leverage and support is obtained with regard to all purchases of equipment/spare parts/materials/services
• Do technical assessments of vendors/contractors

Required Skills/Qualifications:
• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years experience in operation and maintenance of rotating machinery
• Well developed personal network in Linde Gas, Linde Engineering, OEM’s and other suppliers and last but not least in the various countries of RCN
• Excellent command of German and English in both written and spoken
