The company
Our Client is a leader in the chemistry industry and they currently have requirements for a RD Chemist.
The Role
Candidates will be expected to independently plan and execute technical work programs associated with projects. Applicants will need a detailed understanding in a specific technical area and they will be able to apply this knowledge effectively to solve customer problems.
Key responsibilities of the role are to pro-actively identify, report on and improve safety related issues in the local laboratory area using available tools and systems.
Be able to plan and execute project work in support of the RD program to develop products, applications and knowledge.
Applicants will be liaising with internal and external contacts as necessary to track and communicate project status.
Requirements
A chemistry background/degree with some technical experience it is beneficial for candidates to be able to deal customers.
Prospects
Good career prospects exists in the company and the role possibly has potential of progressing to permanent.
Salary
£25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience

Temporary with the possibility of going to perm

Based in the South East region.
