R&D Ops Engineer
As and OutSystems RD Operations Engineer, you will be joining the RD Ops team, a special group of talented software engineers that have one goal: to guarantee continuity and improvement of infrastructure tools and services that support RD continuous delivery process. Following this goal, the RD Ops team is focused in keeping a high level of reliability, performance, and suitability of the tools and services that RD developers use to maintain, develop, test, and deliver the OutSystems Platform.
Besides monitoring the tools and services, you’ll be working on identifying, planning, and implementing automation and improvements using APIs, scripting, and several development tools. You will be challenged to learn new technologies and state-of-the-art delivery processes. You will work closely with all RD teams, learning and improving how this unique product is built.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of tools and services used by RD developers
- Hands-on contributor in projects with the goal of extending existing tools and services
- Work closely with IT and with other RD teams to guarantee great services, tools, and infrastructure assets
- Research and implement automation tools and scripts to replace existing manual processes and maintenance tasks
- Document the new processes, tools, and infrastructure to share with RD teams
Main requirements
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Programing languages, scripting and automation tools, continuous delivery practices
- Fast learner, willing to experiment new technologies and processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Empathic, good communication skills
