SUMMARY: Executes highly diversified assembly work on experimental or prototype machines by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Implement knowledge of electrical and hydraulic circuits. Perform the following skilled operations; fabrication, machining, welding and burning. Work with intricate and complex testing equipment. Read and understand blueprints, drawings, hydraulic and electrical wiring diagrams. Perform material handling and complete associated paperwork. Operate gas, LP, or electric powered forklift. REPORTS TO As assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

* 3 plus years related practical experience in truck/auto mechanics related to electronics, air systems, hydraulics, schematics/blue print reading, and truck driving

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Proficiency in fabrication skills such as welding, use of machine shop equipment, etc. is highly desirable.

* Familiarity with PC's and Microsoft Office products is a plus.

* High level of motivation

* Superior assembly skills

6:00AM-2:30PM with possible overtime
