Senior Consultant/Manager - Real Estate Advisory Team - Sydney
Overview
§ Exciting Senior Consultant / Manager role within the newly formed Real Estate Advisory team. Role will have varied requirements including responsibility for support in financial modelling, strategy development, preparation of Powerpoint presentations, project management and general engagement support.
§ The key priorities of the role will be to assist the leadership team to deliver timely, valuable and accurate support for client real estate engagements which will encompass a range of activities including strategy development, market soundings, joint venture advice and structuring, acquisition and divestment support and due diligence support.
Job Details and Key Accountabilities
- Provide timely and accurate financial, operational, and strategic analytical support as well as efficient project management as required.
· Aid in the preparation of proposals, development of financial models, preparation of presentations, analysis of data and research as required.
· Contribute to idea generation and identification of new client opportunities.
- Be a proactive member of the Real Estate Advisory team.

Skills and Knowledge
- Undergraduate degree required, with an emphasis on real estate, finance, economics or similar discipline preferred . 2- 6 years experience in banking, management consulting, real estate funds management, financial services institution or a direct property group .
- Previous e xposure to property industry preferred - a passion for property required.
- A proven track record in strategy development, creating P ow erpoint presentations, performing financial planning and modelling and interfacing with management teams. Exposure to due diligence in MA transactions is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with significant expertise in Powerpoint and financial modelling.
- Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and to tight time deadlines.
- Excellent research skills and ability to organize, synthesize, and present information clearly .
- Strong commercial acumen coupled with an outgoing, positive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to persuade others, build consensus, and work well within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, E xcel, PowerPoint, and be able to quickly become proficient in other software packages.
