Real Estate Associate
Real Estate Associate – Our client is a leading International Real Estate Private Equity business who is seeking an Analyst to join the team. The business is renowned and a prestigious organisation who has transacted on multi-billions of assets over recent years. They are liquid and ever present in acquiring in the market with a broad portfolio and an opportunistic investment criteria. The London based role will include coverage of the European markets in addition to overlap to Asia and North America. The Role:
Acquisition:
- Originating deals either from MA or direct real estate.
- Working apart of a team to see through the transaction from inception to completion.
- Originating deals from all sectors including offices, retail, leisure and hotels.
- Drafting investment memorandums to the investment committee.
- Manipulating financial models to determine the viability of potential investments across Europe.
- Working closely with senior management in originating and closing transactions.
- Visiting assets and calculating IRR and projected cash flows.
- Working with stakeholders including institutions and property advisors.
- Manipulating debt scenarios within models and presenting to investment committee and on occasions institutions.
Asset Management:
- Analysing property efficiency and identifying opportunities for improved performance to maximise total return
- Preparing asset performance reports and drafting asset management proposals.
- Responsible for regular property visits determining cap ex spend.
- Liaising with local asset/property managers on asset performance.
- Generating monthly reports including LTV ratios and NAVs.
Corporate Finance:
- Assisting in MA activities.
Please only apply if you have a top academic background either from Oxbridge or Russell Group (or an international equivalent) you will be working in Real Estate either with a prestigious “bulge bracket” investment bank or an active Real Estate Private Equity business. The chosen candidate will have excellent communication skills and will have seen through transactions from inception to completion, ideally with some exposure to leisure and hotels.
