Real Estate Financial Controller – Maternity Cover recruitment
THE COMPANY
One of the largest Real Estate Managers in the UK, our client has over £6b of gross assets under management in both the UK and international portfolios.
THE ROLE
1 YEAR MATERNITY COVER
You will have primary responsibility for best practice accounting and reporting for the finance team across all clients. You will also be responsible for the implementation and development of the finance processes and controls across the business.
Main responsibilities:
-Monthly and quarterly reporting
-Management of the Year End and consolidation processes
-Mangement of internal team and external subsidiaries and JV partners
-Audit relationships-ensuring deadlines are met, accounting treatments are agreed and discussed, and that all accounting matters of significance across the global real estate portfolio are understood and communicted as appropriate.
-Responsible for direct reports and their teams including resourcing, development and managing the performance of the team.
-Develop and implement financial and relvant management reporting which meets the requirements of the management team , and internal and external audit committees.
THE PERSON
-ACA qualified accountant
-Accounting or auditing experience in a real estate industry essential
-Experience of managing staff
-Experience of consolidations and report writing
-Strong accounting acumen
-Highly numerate and literate
-Accurate and methodical
-Problem solver
-Ability to enforce tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
