Real Estate Fund Controller recruitment
A renowned international property fund manager with a pan-European and Asian investment base is looking for a commercial Fund Controller to join it's ever expanding empire. Here you will have responsibility for operational matters on a number of core UK and European funds, including delivery of key internal and external financial reports whilst working closely with Fund Portfolio Managers and Fund Directors on corporate acquisitions, disposals and debt financing. You will have responsiblity of a small team to ensure cradle to grave accounting procedures are delivered whilst maintaining key relationships with external service providers.
Past experience has shown that, due to the high profile nature of this position, real estate investment experience from an accounting perspective is essential, as you will be dealing with many senior individuals in the property world on a daily basis. You should have demonstrated success in leading a finance team to deliver core accounts and had some commercial exposure within a property funds remit to match. A post-graduate accountancy qualification (e.g. CA or ACCA), or equivalent, is desired here.
