Job Base Location: Hong Kong
Description
My client is a leading global private equity real estate fund manager, as their platform seeks to expand in Asia Pacific as they wish to recruit fund analysts to join their team in Hong Kong from Australia, Korea, Japan and PRC and will work closely with portfolio managers and have the opportunity to grow into the role of portfolio manager themselves in the mid-term.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial modelling to analyse the historic and forecast performance of the Funds and properties.
• Maintain financial models and systems with accurate data and update forecast assumptions at a property and Fund level.
• Assist in the preparation of KPI’s and portfolio statistics.
• Track and maintain data for the investment portfolio.
• Assist portfolio management team with financial analysis and performance assessment.
• Maintain internal Fund Models.
• Assisting in the modelling and financial analysis of new acquisition and disposals.
• Assist in the preparation of Board Papers and reports to investors.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations on the fund and the Asia Pacific market.
• Provide information where possible and necessary to the market, analysts and investors.
• Capital markets research and preparation of documentation for capital management initiatives.
• Prepare and collate market research in particular for the Board and for Quarterly reporting.
• Other duties as required by the Director of Portfolio Management
Skills Qualifications:
• Experience in related job with minimum 3 years previous experience.
• Undergraduate degree or similar in property, finance or related discipline.
• Strong excel and analysis skills.
• Practical experience in cash modelling and preferably with working with funds model exposure
• Strong skills in writing and verbal communication
• Candidates with Australian, Korean, Taiwanese and PRC experience are welcome to apply
