Real Estate Investment Controller, Associate recruitment
Regular/Temporary: Regular
Reporting to a Senior Manager or Manager, responsible for financial reporting and analysis for assigned real estate fund investments.
Scope of Duties:
•Responsible for all aspects of the accounting, reporting and guardianship / oversight of assigned investments.
•Manage cash transactions, acquisition disposition tracking, gathering deal documentation, corporate governance maintenance, JV partner reporting and reviewing investment financial statements, and quarterly investment level reporting for assigned investments.
•Interface with Business Unit (including Acquisitions team and Asset Managers), Legal and Compliance, Legal Entity Management, Finance and Tax teams, Joint venture Partners and other external parties.
•Assist with IT system enhancements / system testing that would benefit the team's workflow and deliverables.
Skills
Education/Experience Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Well organized, detailed, analytical individual with three or more years of relevant work experience.
• Real Estate / Private Equity experience strongly encouraged.
• Transactional experience gained within the profession or within industry preferred.
• Experience with discounted cash flow real estate modeling a plus.
• PC proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.
