Real Estate Officer – Corporate Banking recruitment

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the following:

• Supporting their team in the conduct of the loan and customer portfolio
• Drafting strategy papers and credit papers
• Contributing to customer business plans
• Conducting due diligence
• Maintaining the Loan Management System (ARM) when appropriate
• Compiling team reports as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior real estate lending experience in the UK and/or Ireland
• Demonstrable experience and ability to prepare credit applications and complete associated loan documentation
• Experience of working on deals in property / land and development sector
• Experience of working on deals in the cash flow / corporate lending exposures
• Experience in deal-structuring in leveraged MA transactions
• Understanding of local tax, legal and accounting regulations
• Knowledge and experience of managing and collection relating to delinquent accounts
• Prior experience of working in a client facing role
• Experience of working on problem cases

• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Finance-related degree or professional qualification
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages
• Experience in use of banking systems and processes
• Interest and drive to work in a unique environment
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communicator at all levels, using appropriate "can do" attitude, language and information
• Experience of working in fast moving financial services environment
• Ability to prioritise and reprioritise to ensure business critical tasks are delivered accurately to deadlines
• Ability to work independently
