Newly established Real estate fund based in Hong Kong has recently secured $250m USD in foreign capital to be invested in Real Estate Joint ventures across China, Vietnam and Japan. This will largely be invested in China and will focus predominantly on retail and residential investments.
They are currently looking for two individuals to join their team. Ideally you will be a Native Mandarin speaker and have spent some time studying or working abroad.
Responsibilities will include :
Initial market research in each location
Support both the Director and MD on the sourcing and acquisition.
Prepare underwriting models and be proficient in building DCF, IRR and Cash-flow models.
Will work with the MD to help draft investment proposals for the investment committee
Help build allocation and reporting templates.
Assist in preparing quarterly reports for the investor
You will be an adaptable, analytical, confident and hard working individual, the MD is keen to secure someone who is keen to develop their networking skills alongside their analytical skills, he would look to have the associates work closely with him and attend meetings with potential JV partners, investors and key stakeholders.
It is essential you speak fluent Mandarin and English, with a preference for native Mandarin.
