 Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) is the asset management arm of Norway’s central bank (Norges Bank), responsible for managing the Government Pension Fund Global and the Norwegian foreign exchange reserves.  The portfolios are valued at more than 400 billion Euros and invested in international equity, fixed-income and real estate markets.

NBIM S.à r.l. in Luxembourg, a subsidiary of Norges Bank, was established in 2011 following the recent inclusion of Real Estate in the Government Pension Fund.  We are pleased to offer you an opportunity to join us in Luxembourg and help us fulfill the mandate to place up to 5 percent of the Fund’s assets in properties.

Real Estate Research - Senior Analysts / Analysts

(M/F)

As a Real Estate Research Analyst you will contribute to establishing the real estate research team in Luxembourg as a hub for providing real estate research services to NBIM globally. You will interact with real estate professionals in other NBIM offices. There will be significant development opportunities for the right candidates.

Your responsibilities

• Provide regular and ad-hoc research for the NBIM real estate acquisition team

• Develop real estate research processes and tools

• Communicate research findings through meetings with NBIM real estate investment management and portfolio managers

• Prepare regular written research documentation on key European markets

• Provide specific research for new investment opportunities and for the development of existing investments

• Support and interact with the acquisition teams and portfolio managers in London and other NBIM global offices

• Primary focus on European developed markets

Your profile

• Master’s degree preferred

• Minimum 2 years of experience from European real estate research is required

• Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of quantitative/statistical tools

• Track record of working with teams across different countries

• Attention to detail

• Must be fluent in English
