Real Estate Restructuring

- Primarily responsible for supporting the loan manager in the management of a portfolio of non performing real estate loans and conducting the administration of the wider loan portfolio. Responsible for drafting and presenting credit papers, conducting due diligence on loan cases, undertaking research and compiling team reports as required.
- Assist the team Manager in managing the teams loan portfolio, ensuring that the team operates in line with lending guidelines to deliver agreed goals.
- Contribute to the timely and accurate completion by the team of all reports
- Ensure the administration of the team`s portfolio is carried out to the highest standard, including preparing business plan decision letters, maintenance of the business plan tracking system, preparing facility and instruction letters, completing legal and drawdown documentation, managing client files and inputting information onto the various Bank systems
- Monitor and maintain tight control as appropriate over all relevant cash inflows from borrower assets
- Assist the Assistant Manager - Manager to conduct due diligence on assigned cases and put forward best alternatives for maximum loan recovery
- Prepare credit papers, as appropriate that require minimal input from the Assistant Manager - Manager and to present same to Credit Committee

- Real estate lending or lending support experience
- Working in a loan restructuring environment and dealing with loans of a complex nature where a Receiver or Administrator has been appointed would be a distinct advantage
- Ability to write and present standard credit applications and complete associated loan documentation obtaining technical guidance as required
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel (ability to create cashflows from raw data) and relevant Banking
systems
- Experience of instructing and dealing with third party professionals. The ability to understand, question and propose amendment (where necessary) to third party reports.
- Min 2 A levels or equivalent education is essential (including Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent).
Credit analysis documentation
- Demonstrate ability to assess credit risk, to write and present real estate credit applications and complete associated loan documentation obtaining minimal technical guidance as required.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong cash flow analysis skills.
