 Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) is the asset management arm of Norway’s central bank (Norges Bank), responsible for managing the Government Pension Fund Global and the Norwegian foreign exchange reserves.  The portfolios are valued at more than 400 billion Euros and invested in international equity, fixed-income and real estate markets.

NBIM S.à r.l. in Luxembourg, a subsidiary of Norges Bank, was established in 2011 following the recent inclusion of Real Estate in the Government Pension Fund.  We are pleased to offer you an opportunity to join us in Luxembourg and help us fulfill the mandate to place up to 5 percent of the Fund’s assets in properties.

Real Estate Valuation Performance - Analyst

(M/F)

As a Real Estate Valuation Performance Analyst you will contribute to developing the valuation performance function for real estate within NBIM. You will interact with professionals in other NBIM offices. There will be significant development opportunities for the right candidate.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust and flexible valuation, performance measurement and attribution framework for real estate investments

• Present and communicate valuations and related attribution to key stakeholders

• Key resource in the implementation of solutions and processes for performance measurement and attribution

• Develop and drive new activities involving provision of benchmark and performance data

• Manage mission critical data deliveries from NBIM’s data providers and global partners

• Contribute in quarterly pricing, NAV calculation and data validation

• Support and interact with internal stakeholders, including finance, risk management and portfolio management

Your profile

• University degree

• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar real estate role is required

• Technical knowledge in the valuation and performance measurement field

• Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of relevant tools

• Broad real estate experience is an advantage

• Track record of working with teams across different countries

• Attention to detail

• Must be fluent in English
