REAL ESTATE/PRIVATE EQUITY FUND ACCOUNTANT (M/F) Job in Luxembourg 1331
THE JOB :
The Fund Accounting team is responsible for the efficient and timely maintenance of the books and records of alternative investment fund vehicles; the generation of investor reporting; and the management of the audit process.
The team works closely with the corporate secretarial and financial reporting teams to ensure a seamless service delivery to clients.
The Real Estate/Private Equity Fund Accountant will be responsible for undertaking bookkeeping, accounting and reporting services for a portfolio of more complex alternative investment fund structures administered by the Company.
The Accountant will undertake directed work and take responsibility for the achievement of the deadlines communicated by their Manager and the adherence to standard policy and procedures.
Accountants may be expected to undertake the role of mentor and coach for more junior team members..
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE :
- Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the field of alternative investment fund accounting and/or other financial services industry experience would be essential
- A strong understanding of the transactions undertaken by entities administered by the Luxembourg Fund Accounting teams (especially in the product area relevant to your role)
- Analytical mindset with a problem solving mentality
- Ability to work under pressure - Good work ethic at all times
- Working Lux GAAP and IFRS knowledge desirable
- A perfect command of English
