Description
The successful incumbent will be part of the Logistics Team to receive all incoming materials to stockroom.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to receive and transact all incoming materials to ensure all materials are received correctly against purchase orders and are distributed to work orders properly.
- Work closely with Expeditor, QA Inspector, Production Team and Purchasing Group.
- Receiving products, packages into the facility
- Data input transactions
- Inventory control
- Cycle count, daily
- Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
- Ship products, packages from the facility (domestic and international)
Qualifications/Requirements
· AS degree, or equivalent experience/education
· 3 - 5 years experience in warehousing
· Familiar with forklift with previous or current forklift certification
· Experience with SAP is a plus
· Knowledge of carrier (automatic) systems such as Fed Ex, UPS, and DHL
· Experience with inventory flow process
· Experience with cycle count process
· Work on complex issues where analysis of data requires.
· Ability to work well with internal and external customers
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to maintain and analyze inventory level.
· Overtime/weekend hours, as needed
· Must be able to establish priorities, work independently, and be flexible to assist others.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced /cross-functional deadline driven environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently perform lifting/lowering, pushing/pulling
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Standing, bending and sitting is also required, on a regular basis
