The Developer Support Engineer works closely with our PlusFeed clients throughout their development phases as they build and enhance their PlusFeed dependent applications by providing sample code or development scenarios for them to work with.

In this dynamic role that services both internal and external clients, you will act as a Product Specialist, and will be called up to educate your client base on market content. You will participate in the development of tools, systems and processes aimed at improving product supportability or overall support productivity. You will assist the Quality Assurance team, as needed, in testing data products and database changes. You will provide second and first level support when necessary, either through phone or email communications. You will use your analytical skills to identify, investigate and determine root cause related to market data content inquiries through the application of both technical skills and market knowledge. You will be called upon to interpret technical documentation in order to understand and relay the flow and final delivery of exchange information to internal and external clients. You will proactively provide feedback to QA, Development and Data Engineering teams on various technical releases, internal processes and workflows. You will also perform minor project management functions on an ad-hoc basis.

Finally, you will build and maintain relationships with various Plus Feed clients, data exchanges and internal clients for the purpose of communicating and resolving related inquiries.

 

Experience and Skills:

 The ideal candidate will be a RECENTcollege graduate with 6 months work experience in the financial services industry. Should have a strong interest in the financial markets. In addition, candidates must have solid knowledge of AT LEAST two of the following skills:
