Receptionist

Established in 1985, II00: Architect is an internationally recognized and award-winning architecture firm with offices in New York City and Frankfurt.    

We are currently seeking a Receptionist for our busy Manhattan studio. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and handle various administrative projects in support of a professional team of 40 persons.

   

Job Qualifications:

 

2+ years administrative or receptionist experience, preferably in a creative environment;

Professional demeanor and clear, articulate speaking voice;

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Quickbooks;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced environment;

Ability to work well with others in a team environment;

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred;

Design industry interest and/or exposure a plus.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Greet visitors and callers in a professional and courteous manner;

Answer multi-line telephone, directing calls as appropriate;

Maintain professional business environment for front office and conference rooms;

Assist Accounting Manager with various projects;

Process invoices for payment using Quickbooks software;

Maintain contact database, office equipment and supplies;  

Coordinate and order meals for meetings and events;

Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages and faxes;

Copy, scan, file documents;

Perform routine clerical tasks;

Miscellaneous projects as needed.

 

Office Hours:

Regular Office Hours:    Monday – Friday  9:00am to 6:00pm

Summer Office Hours:  Monday – Thursday  8:30am to 6:30pm and Friday 8:30-12:30pm
