We are looking for highly motivated and service oriented staff for our guest service team in a newly planned Air Berlin’s business lounge at the Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
Performa, the international quality lounge service provider, will be responsible for operating the lounge. Performa is a member of gategroup, the leading global provider of onboard products and services. For more than two decades, Performa has been working with airlines, airports and hotels to design and improve customer environments and experiences
*Depending on your skills you may wish to apply for the role of receptionist or attaché, or the combined role of receptionist/attaché and the principle accountabilities will apply accordlingly.
Principle Accountabilities:
·Welcome guests to the lounge in a warm, courteous and professional manner
·Understand all the offerings and facilities of the lounge in order to explain them to guests
·Have a firm grasp of the designated airline’s product knowledge
.Understand the ‘Lounge entry ‘ system, know how to register lounge guests
·Be able to assist guests with specific requests in the lounge
·Offer guests their choice of drinks or items from the buffet area
·Maintain guest-facing lounge areas, including the dining area, bar and buffet, in an excellent condition at all times
·Prepare all food and display them according to specifications
·Ensure that the bars, condiments, glasses, cups, etc are neatly set up
.Load service and kitchen equipment for cleaning in the dishwasher
·Maintain a high level of service delivery
·Maintain company standards of grooming and personal hygiene
·Build rapport with guests and aim for 100% customer satisfaction
·Report any customer feedback (complaints and compliments) and take remedial action where possible
Competencies required:
·Previous experience in hospitality and/or customer-service role preferred
·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·Initiative and ability to work independently
·Enthusiasm and a service orientation
·Outgoing personality
·Positive can-do attitude
·Team player
·Excellent organizational skills
·Excellent grooming standards
