Receptionist

Continental Home Loans, Inc. is an established HUD-approved lender with over 27 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry.  We lend on a national level with our corporate office located in New York. We have a strong expertise in FHA lending, of which has been our concentration for a quarter of a century. We are currently seeking a Receptionist to work in our corporate headquarters in Melville, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in switch board operation, ability to multi- task and a friendly, customer service demeanor.  Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am through 4:30pm and alternating Saturdays 10am-3pm.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

·  Answering a high volume of phone calls and transferring to the appropriate party.

·  Utilizing touch screen technology to manage multiple phone lines.

·  Greeting visitors and clients and notifying the person they are meeting with.

·  Preparing Fed Ex packages as needed.

Qualifications:

·  Experience using a switch board in a high volume reception position.

·  Ability to utilize technology and computer programs confidently.

·  Strong Communication skills over the phone and in person.

·  Ability to multi- task and proactively problem solve.
