We are looking for a receptionist to join our Corporate HQ in Parsippany, NJ.
Reporting to the Director of Facilities, you'll be the first point of contact for all visitors to Reckitt Benckiser, representing the company in a professional manner by attending to visitors and handling both internal and external queries. Main responsibilities include:
- Answer incoming phone calls, screen and direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Greet persons entering organization, insure security protocols are followed, and direct to correct destination, insuring that all visitors are attended to in a timely fashion.
- Maintain monthly reports for head count reporting in conjunction with Human Resources and Facilities related to RB guests, temporary workers and contractors working on site for extended periods of time.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the facilities department as needed.
- Schedule and maintain appointments and meetings utilizing online conference room/meeting/catering booking system.
- Maintain the reception area insuring to keep neat and organized.
- Must have a High School diploma. A technical degree from an accredited business school or a college BS degree is strongly preferred.
- 1-3 years of professional work experience with knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
- Must possess a professional demeanor along with the ability to work independently, use sound judgment to make smart decisions quickly and with minimal support.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, team work environment.
- Must have strong computer skills in MS Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
- Professional experience in using any kind of online database, preferably one used for booking of conference rooms, catering orders and creation of employee badges.
- Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must have good customer service skills.
- Must have the ability to work overtime as required for special projects and other facility or business needs as they arise.
