Our client is a leading media company based in Silverwater. This company is a market leader in their field and due to continued growth they have recently opened their new Silverwater site. An energetic receptionist with full function accounts payable experience is required to join this established inner west team.

Due to an internal promotion, a receptionist / accounts clerk candidate is required to become part of what is set to be a busy and varied role.

Your main responsibilities will be to process suppliers’ invoices, both timely and accurately.
Prepare suppliers’ payments on a weekly and monthly basis, filing and scanning of accounts payable documents, performing the matching of invoicing and goods receipts prior to any payments being processed, creating new general ledger accounts and complete end of month general ledger reports. You will also be responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors and answering all incoming phone calls.

You must have a corporate, polished and professional manner and also have a keen interest in developing on the finance side of the business.  

To be suitable for this role you must have extremely reception experience and have a demonstrated ability to work a variety of people. You must have a bright and bubbly personality and be an effective communicator as well as strong numerical and data entry skills. You must also have a solid understanding of all Microsoft Office suites, namely PowerPoint, Word and Excel. We also expect that you will possess exceptional attention to detail and be extremely well organised.
