Receptionist – Part

AB Mauri is seeing a Part-time Receptionist to work afternoon hours at its Headquarters location in St. Louis (Chesterfield), Missouri.

Objective: The Receptionist will provide consistently pleasant and professional guidance to all telephone callers and walk-in guests and provide general office and administrative support as needed.

Responsibilities:


Switchboard
- Answer switchboard in a courteous and timely manner and route calls to employees.  Take messages as needed.  Train new employees as needed for switchboard relief.


Visitors
- Ensure all walk-in visitors are pleasantly greeted and sign in according to office policy.


Vendors Suppliers
- Ensure all vendors and suppliers are greeted and treated in a professional manner.  Ensure solicitors are not allowed in the office unless they have an appointment.  Ensure that all needed supplies and products are available to the staff.  Order office and kitchen supplies to replenish stock as needed.  Prepare, code, sign and forward invoices. 


Mail Deliveries
- Distribute incoming mail and courier deliveries in a timely manner.  Ensure outgoing mail and courier service is posted and labeled to ensure prompt delivery for all departments.  Coordinate with international, domestic and local courier services.  Follow up and maintain credits and claims with courier services.  Maintain ample postage in meter for all departments’ usage and order supplies to maintain equipment.


General Office Administrative Duties
- Maintain conference room scheduling for all departments and employees.  Update the company phone list.  Provide administrative support to other departments.

Skills Knowledge:

Qualified candidates will possess a combination of the following skills and responsibilities: High school diploma.  Two to three years receptionist or related experience.  Personal Computer experience abd working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and Internet Explorer.  Knowledge of office machines, including copiers, printers, facsimiles, etc.  Ability to maintain composure and pleasant manner under pressure.  Good interpersonal skills with managers, staff and peers in business units and office.
