The AFTRA Health Fund provides performers and their families with health benefits and life insurance. It was the first such fund for any of the performing arts and resulted from collective bargaining agreements between the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and industry producers. The AFTRA Health Fund is an independent organization, not a Union subsidiary, agency or department. Its main office is located in New York City and a satellite office is located in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles office is seeking a Receptionist to join our Los Angeles Office team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience at all times as the main point of contact for small office environment, which is part of the company's call center
- Promptly answers incoming calls in a professional, polite, upbeat, and articulate manner with consistent emphasis on superior customer service and attention
- Directs calls to person requested by caller or as appropriate
- Checks and forwards all voicemail messages in a timely manner
- Handles all incoming/outgoing mail
- Handles inquiries from walk-in customers in a professional manner
- Facilitates administrative duties such as filing, copies, reports, faxes, etc for the call center group
- Supports office staff with administrative functions, including correspondence, making labels, updating excel worksheet and access database reports, etc
- Any other general administrative duties and responsibilities as assigned.
