Reconciliation Accountant
A highly regarded financial services organization in Wimbledon seek a driven and experienced Reconciliation Accountant to take responsibility for maintaining the key financial controls of the company and provide a good service to both internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will ensure that adequate controls and processes are in place around Trial Balances, Bank reconciliations and Balance Sheet reconciliations. You will investigate and resolve queries in a professional manner and ensure that Trial Balances and all reconciliations are produced accurately. The successful candidate will also formulate a methodology for clearing outstanding items on the Balance Sheet and drives efficiencies in reconciliations systems and processes.
Part qualification (ACCA or CIMA) is desired, as is previous experience of dealing with high volumes of data and being responsible for reconciling it. You must have the ability to challenge current processes and seek efficiencies in daily workflow. Intermediate excel, pivot tables and v lookups, is essential.
Initially starting as a temporary role for up to 3 months, there is a possibility that for the right candidate this role may lead to a permanent role.
