RECONCILIATION ANALYST recruitment

We have an excellent career opportunity for a Reconciliation Analyst in our Jersey City office. As part of a three person team, the Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for the daily reconciliation, analysis, and resolution of all differences arising on approximately 110 multi-currency fixed income portfolios.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Obtain daily reporting from 15+ third parties (client custodian banks, trustees, and prime brokers).

• Utilizing an electronic system, reconcile FFTW investment accounting data with third party data and produce exception reports.

• Produce manual reconciliations using Excel for third parties without electronic reporting capabilities.

• Research and resolve reconciliation exceptions.

• Produce daily reports for distribution to management and operations staff including fail reports, overdraft report, and reconciliation statistics.

Academic Background and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• Excellent academic credentials including a minimum overall GPA of 3.0. 

• Related financial services internship(s)/work experience a strong plus.  

• Strong computer skills.
