Reconciliation Assistant

My client is a global business with their operations in Peterborough being a centre of excellence for their accounting team.
As a result of the growth of the business and a re-focus of this particular team, we are supporting them in the recruitment of several positions that are currently a 12 month fixed term contract but do stand a very good chance of being made permanent.

Our client is looking for people to be responsible for the investigation and resolution of variances in banking, cash and accounts receivable so we are looking for people with sales or purchase ledger, credit control or possibly retail banking experience.
You must be able to demonstrate extremely strong communication skills as this job will involve lots of interaction with other departments as well as being sensitive to potentially difficult situations where a fraud may be suspected.  Your attention to detail will be exceptional and you will be expected to work to deadlines without it affecting your accuracy.
