Robert Half Financial Services is currently recruiting for a global investment bank which has served companies and their investors for numerous years and operates in a number of key cities around the world. The role is working within the Operations Control area. Team is responsible for the analysis and control oversight for the international Operations department, covering all products traded and all aspects of the trade lifecycle across those products. Our client needs someone with strong Operations experience within Reconciliations Operations role, in particular any exposure to OTC and Exchange Traded Derivatives, would be highly advantageous.

Robert Half International is currently recruiting for a City based institution for a strong Control specialist. The role is working within the Operations Control area. Our client needs someone with strong Operations experience within Reconciliations Operations role, in particular any exposure to OTC and Exchange Traded Derivatives, would be highly advantageous. The chosen must have strong working experience of Reconciliations and working knowledge of GMI and Frontier Recon are highly advantageous. The ideal candidate must be either available immediately, or on a 1- week notice period. Key ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities are:·? Work with the Subject Matter Experts and Business Analysts to understand the business requirements and business operating processes/procedures for the creation of test cases for Frontier reconciliations. ·? Manage the major components of each UAT phase such as issue tracking and remediation, execution of test cases and successful execution of test batch cycles by coordinating with the Operations Business lines, Project teams, International Operations Control and Operations Technology.·? Prototyping reconciliations (expected in MS Excel) where required, running test cases in Frontier and document / present results in a concise manner for managers in Operations Control.·? Review existing internal procedural and overview documentation and produce new documentation where required for each reconciliation.·? Facilitate managing the efforts of assigned testers and gathering the reconciliation test results for the users.·? Support the design, build, testing and delivery of requirements identified2. Qualifications/Experience ·? Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). ·? Excellent IT skills, particularly MS Excel. Experience working with large data feeds advantageous.·? Ability to write test cases and test scripts to test various portions of the Business Requirements Document and present the results in a concise manner for senior Operations manager to agree and sign-off.·? Experience working on large projects including executing and documenting test cases·? Solid understanding of banking products and investment banking operations·? Experienced Business Analysis with testing strategies and tools.·? Experience throughout the project lifecycle, with emphasis on the ability to gather, understand and document requirements in order to improve·? Experience with Frontier, Recon+ or a similar reconciliation platform is desirable (either reconciliation build or as an operator).·? Experience with GMI or a similar derivatives back-office platform also desirable.·? Ability to build strong working relationships with all levels of the business and to be able to clearly articulate testing requirements both written and verbally·? Self-motivated with proven ability to challenge and improve existing procedures and processes·? Strong attention to detail·? Experience in a control environment preferable.
