Reconciliations Manager recruitment
Key responsibilities
- To reconcile MG's Custody records to it's accounting records for cash and Securities, and mange exceptions to a successful resolution
- To manage exceptions between MGs internal systems in a timely manner and to a successful resolution
- Support the CR10A with CASS related activities
- Consolidate and distribute Investment Admin MIS Reporting,
- Overdraft and Investment Loss Reporting and facilitation of in-house query resolution.
- To manage Custodial Relationships on behalf of MG's Clients.
- Administer all Operational Losses.
- Support the Administration Director as required
- Recruit and develop team members.
- Sponsor and/ or support change and projects as is necessary
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with a number of years Operational experience in Custodial, Investment Management or Banking environment.
The successful candidate should be a self starter and look for continuous improvements in people, processes and systems, to support the ever growing demands of a successful business
The candidate will need strong interpersonal skills to maintain good relationships with all parts of the business
The candidate should have a very strong controls ethic to ensure issues and exceptions are kept to a minimum, quickly resolved, and remedial actions suggested
The candidate should have strong people manager skills, as the team of 20 needs to meet tight daily deadlines
The candidate needs to have experience of working closely and managing custodians or other such suppliers to ensure service standards are met
The candidate needs to be capable of supporting and effecting change as the business grows and systems change.
The candidate should be capable of working as part of a wider management team to support the business
