We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Record Retention Specialist in our Roselle, NJ location. If you have at least 1 - 2 years of Record Retention experience and would like to grow your skills with continual learning this may be the job for you!
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Follow all company and department policies and procedures.
- Record all warehouse activity levels.
- Process all incoming and outgoing records by maintaining their inventory utilizing the Records Management System (RMS).
- Process retrieval orders including pulling the item, verifying item, recording all activity in RMS in a timely and accurate manner.
- Process all destructions including pulling required items, verifying item for accuracy, preparing it for cartage, and recording in RMS.
- Research and resolve discrepancies encountered during above processes and communicate difficult issues or problems to manager.
- Perform inventory cycle counting.
- Prepare and process all record center paperwork necessary to accomplish the above process.
- Inspect and maintain all equipment including storage racking, ladders, etc.
- Observe safety procedures and report any safely issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years past work experience in a records retention center, team focused environment preferred.
- Experienced using Microsoft Office.
- Able to climb stairs, lift material up to 70 pounds and be able to use tools to maneuver.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to adhere to and enforce all security procedures
