Records Manager – recruitment

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Records Manager to join an International law firm on a fixed term contract lasting for 12 months. The role can be based in the following locations including Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Ipswich, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle, or Nottingham.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing archiving contracts, ensuring the safe destruction or firm retention of relevant legal documentation in line with the Data Protection Act, and the Firm's interests. You will also be a key relationship holder with specific internal clients.

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Holding authority for the destruction of records
- Archiving all relevant documentation
- Owning and implementing changes due to firm wide changes
- Maintaining key relationships both internally and with external businesses
- Managing a team of staff on a regional level

Please note that you must have had proven contract management experience, and it would be beneficial if you have worked within an international law firm in the past. The client has made it clear that this position could be made permanent for the right person.
