Recovery Analyst, Enterprise Risk Management recruitment

The Company is one of the Systemically Important Financial Institutions (SIFI), deemed “too big to fail” by the Regulators. SIFIs are required to submit credible Living Wills which describe how they will recover from a crisis and mitigate systematic impact. The Living Will programme is global, cross business programme, and a regulatory priority for them over the coming years.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support Recovery Head in the production, analysis and delivery of the Recovery Plan
• Identify and document key stress tests, relevant to Recover, including specific outcomes and steps taken to remediate
• Work closely with LW Engagement and Communication manager to write up recovery response
• Ensure recovery plan is consistent with resolution plan, in particular analysing interconnectedness issues within recovery
• Work with business contacts to gather the information required to produce the Recovery plan
• Scribe, validate, and perform data analysis
• Work with business contacts to ensure business related issues are covered for stress tests, lessons learned and recovery actions
• Track ex-ante recovery issues to ensure they are proceeding as required
• Prepare weekly recovery status reports

You will have:
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Significant experience in communications and stakeholder management
• Minimum foundation level knowledge of financial products
• Knowledge of key developments across the financial and regulatory landscape
• Knowledge of the organisation, structure, products, and services preferred
• Skilled writer able to rapidly turn data, from multiple sources, into a concise and compelling story
• Expert Microsoft Office skills; Excel, Word, Power point. Microsoft Project and Visio skills preferred
