Recreational Therapist Job in Euless 76039, Texas Us
Job Purpose
To facilitate activities that are goal oriented in a one on one, in home or community setting, with clients who have physical, mental and developmental disabilities by planning and developing activities and administering recreational therapy.
1. Evaluate client's needs, develop goals and objectives, and a plan of care to treat client'sneeds, administer therapeutic treatments.
2. Submit weekly documented progress notes that reflect observations, goal oriented activities, client's progress, assessments of client and client needs.
3. Promote independence, physical fitness, social skills, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and a healthy leisure lifestyle.
4. Submit quarterly evaluations reflecting current needs, goals and progress.
5. Maintain client confidentiality.
6. Maintain CTRS, CPR, liability insurance, and strive to keep a working professional knowledge by attending conferences and workshops.
REQUIREMENTS:
- NCTRC Certificaiton ( Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist CTRS)
- Current Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Auto LIability Insurance
- CPR
- Professional Liability Insurance
