Description

Seeking an innovator with the experience and skill necessary to develop a world class talent pool. We are looking for a true expert, enthusiast and top performing practitioner of the art and science of full life cycle recruiting. The recruiter will be a business partner and consultant working closely with business partners and HR management to effectively source and hire quality team members and Leaders.

Responsibilities include: Utilize both tried-and-true as well as unconventional and innovative sourcing approaches that lead to successful results. Develop a network throughout the industry to build an up-to-date pool of current and potential candidates. This includes contacts through industry groups and associations as well as direct contact with candidates. Develop competitive intelligence, share that information with business partners and leverage that information to develop a pool of candidates. Perform full-life cycle recruiting (source, pre-qualify, interview, extend/negotiate offers) for positions ranging from non-exempt support staff to exempt level staff up to and including Vice President. Develop relationships with Colleges and Universities. Research and develop alternative sourcing methods to attract an experienced, professional, diversified workforce and build a pipeline for future needs. Sources would include community organizations, peers in other companies, search firms, technological resources, etc. Pre-qualify internal candidates who apply for positions through the job posting system and serve as a resource for internal employees seeking career guidance. Completion of weekly metric reports on recruitment activity. Recruiter must comply with all legal and ethical requirements of the employment process and learn, understand and follow corporate policies related to the staffing process.

 

Required Experience

Required Skills/ Qualifications:  Four year degree required (no exceptions).  Two years minimum of full cycle recruiting experience. Other skills required would include: Enthusiasm, creativity and the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience developing new candidate sourcing avenues including cold calling, community networking and developing contacts within the industry. Prior experience managing relocation benefits in relation to new hires is a plus. Proven experience working with diverse job openings related to a corporate and manufacturing environment preferred. Experience working with and managing third party search agencies and other recruiting support businesses.  Strong PC skills, including internet recruiting and ATS are strongly preferred.  AIRS certifications strongly desired.  Must be willing to assist in HR Generalist duties as needed to support corporate HR team.
