Description: Rapidly-growing, privately-owned Travel Nursing and Travel Allied Healthcare Agency is seeking an additional member for our recruiting team. We place nurses and allied professionals into temporary assignments throughout the US at prominent hospitals and healthcare facilities. We offer these temporary employees full benefits, including payroll services, housing, travel options, and insurance. We have grown by an average of 37% over the last 3 years. Recently secured a very large contract with a nationwide hospital system and are looking for someone with a proven track-record as a recruiter to add to our team for this year. The position offers a small guaranteed salary, with full medical and dental benefits, but showcases an extremely aggressive commission plan that realistically would offer a $40,000 to $50,000 first year compensation. 2nd year should fall between $50,000 and $75,000.
Job Purpose:
Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating travel nursing job candidates; advising managers; managing relocations.
Duties:
* Establishes recruiting requirements by warm-calling new, daily leads existing database, and referrals
* Maintains integrity through knowlegable information about hospitals we provide service for, pay rates, housing information, insurance information, etc.
* Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
* Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
* Prepares candidates for telephone interviews by coordinating schedules; helps at arrange travel, and lodging.
* Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with hiring managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
* Manages new employee relocation by determining new employee requirements.
* Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
* Manages intern program by conducting orientations; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; advising managers on training and coaching.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
* Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
