- Find new and innovative ways to continually search for top talent for the Edmonton office
- Source candidates through cold calling, advertising, general inquiries, Internet, referrals (employee, customer, and candidate), and unsolicited resumes
- Source and match qualified candidates to mandatory criteria listed in RFPs
- Effectively pre-screen candidates over the phone
- Perform interview, system reporting, background checks and other duties as necessary
- Conduct reference checks
- Match candidate skills to available contract and full-time opportunities in a quick and efficient manner
- Manage the resume flow and work with team members to enter in new job postings
- Communicate with top candidates on a regular basis
- Connect with great candidates and build rapport
- Work with Delivery Manager, Resource Management and Site Leads to determine resource requirements for internal resource requests
- Build on your existing Edmonton IT Network by attending technology events, job fairs and other indudstry events
- Communicate and collaborate with the Recruiting Team in our other offices
- Work closely with Resource Manager and off-shore team to ensure a successful relationship is maintained
- Utilize multiple tools, social networking and memberships and professional affiliations to attract and recruit talents
- Continually build and maintain a 'pipeline' of qualified candidates for specific skill sets, both permanent employees and freelancers
- Participate in local IT/Consulting networking organizations and events
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and external candidates and participant in arranging interviews including booking time (location or method of communication)
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all sensitive information

Qualifications
Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years work experience in an IT recruiting/staffing environment with a solid knowledge of IT terminology and high-tech industry
- Demonstrated track record recruiting in the marketplace in a fluctuating volume and paced sourcing environment
- Formal training in recruiting and interviewing techniques with proven experience in assessing and qualifying candidates, using behavioral and technical interviewing techniques
- Experience in recruiting tools (i.e.: Taleo, Monster, Workopolis, Social Networks etc)
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks, meet demanding deadlines and produce high quality work with rapid turnaround
- Meticulous and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Established planning and process management skills
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Energetic, outgoing and self-motivated
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience is preferred
- Ability to quickly gain an understanding of Fujitsu's service offerings and project requirements.
