Current Need

This position will provide recruitment delivery service for a varied requisition workload in support of McKesson Medical Surgical talent acquisition needs. It is primarily responsible for driving efficient and effective selection process outcomes that include using creative sourcing techniques to attract talent for key positions. The recruiter will understand recruitment metrics that enable individual productivity to meet performance goals and business demand. The recruiter will develop and manage recruiting strategies to attract high caliber talent to meet the company's needs.

-Perform special projects as necessary.

-Will be accountable for executing hiring strategies across requisition workload to meet service delivery expectations.

-Provide up to date communication to management on recruiting initiatives and recruiting reporting.

Individual management:

-Manage the lifecycle of 20-30 requisitions and drive service delivery outcomes

-Provide coaching and consulting to hiring teams throughout the selection process

-Use creative sourcing techniques to attract talent for slating

Process management:

-Execute standard processes and procedures that enable recruiting efficiency, and the customer and candidate experience.

-Direct the selection process with a quality orientation and speed to market

Reporting:

Provide consistent progress reporting to the business that defines success against business needs and measures productivity.

Position Description

Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and/or maintaining employment and other personnel programs. Interviews and screens applicants. Conducts reference checks. Coordinates pre-employment physicals, travel, relocation, reporting dates, security clearances and employment processing, including visas. Conducts employment advertising campaigns and programs. Maintains college recruiting, affirmative action, and career development programs. Conducts research and analyzes data on assigned projects, including agency performance. May search for and identify candidates for highly specialized and difficult-to-attract positions, usually requiring some travel.

Minimum Requirements

5+ years recruiting experience

Education

4-year degree in human resources, business or related field or equivalent experience
