The Mergis Group and one of our financial clients are hiring a Recruiter to bring onto their Southfield, Michigan team! We are seeking upbeat, positive professionals whom can handle a high volume department.
Title: Recruiter
Length of Assignment: 6 months
Hours: 8-5pm
Summary: Responsible for seeking out, interviewing, and screening applicants to fill existing and future job openings and promote career opportunities within an organization.
Responsibilities:
- This position is located in a high volume retail organization and candidate will be responsible of recruiting positions ranging from entry level to advanced roles in the Midwest.
- Must have about 2-3 years’ background in high volume environment.
- Recruiters in this department have a goal of filling over 250 reqs per year.
- Must have experience working with external recruitment, about 60-65% of their candidates are external.
- The position will entail a large amount of external sourcing and interviewing.
- Retail experience is preferred but not a must.
- This position will entail a large amount of cold calls therefore, the contractor must be comfortable making cold calls and uses strong communication skills.
- This position will focus on the beginning stages of the recruitment cycle and be expected to understand and be able to build a pipeline of candidates.
