Job Duties Responsibilities

·         This is a full-lifecycle recruiting position with significant responsibility for college relations.

·         Provide exceptional staffing services across the organization and maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates and internal staff.

·         Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives and attend career fairs.

·         Develop working relationships within colleges to aid in recruiting.

·         May give presentations at colleges and attend student group meetings to increase campus awareness of AeroVironment.

·         Source, screen, interview and recommend candidates for exempt and non-exempt positions in engineering, finance, IT, marketing and operations.

·         Consult with hiring managers and develop and execute recruiting plans.

·         Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.

·         Participate in the development of creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies.

·         Will report to the Staffing Manager and work closely with recruiting consultants.

 

Required Qualifications Background

·         Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline required.

·         At least four years of experience in corporate and technical recruiting.

·         Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with various audiences (other employees, all levels of management, candidates, search firms, etc.).

·         Strong organizational and follow up skills.

·         Proven ability to multi-task effectively and respond to multiple high priority needs simultaneously.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Experience recruiting in a wide variety of engineering disciplines desired. 

·         Recent experience with campus recruiting a must.

·         Proficiency in MS Office applications, Internet recruiting and applicant tracking software.

·         Must be willing to travel extensively during campus recruiting seasons.
