Title:   Recruiting Associate

Reports To: Vice President and General Manager


Job Purpose:

Assist CARA Recruiters and Consultants with administration of recruiting in support of the company’s profitable revenue growth.  Ensure CARA Candidates are vetted appropriately: schedule technical interviews, conduct reference checks, and prepare candidate profiles. Generate candidate leads by sourcing and pre-screening candidates. Candidate must be able to work on-site, in Oak Brook, IL.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

Sourcing Candidates

 

Identify Candidate leads from a number of sources, including, but not limited to:

·       Outbound active sourcing, such as searching on Internet job sites (LinkedIn, BullHorn, Monster, Associations etc.)

·       Inbound sourcing, such as posting jobs on Internet job sites (LinkedIn, BullHorn Reach, Monster, Professional Associations, etc.)

·       Leverage professional organizations (ASTD, CSPI, STC, etc.)

·       Attend networking events to build relationships and identify potential candidates

·       Solicit referrals from potential talent and CARA Consultants

 

Create and post consulting engagements:

·       Post engagments on the CARA website, LinkedIn and other external websites (ASTD, ISPI, etc.)

·       Establish recruiting Internet presence (Twitter, write for CARA Chronicles’s blog, status updates on LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)


Pre-Screening Candidates

 

Screen resumes that come from both outbound and inbound lead generation:

    Conduct phone screen for Geography, Rate, Availability, Skills and Strengths

    Assign lead/resume to Recruiter for qualification

    Find and report any trends in the marketplace—for example, multiple candidates from same company immediately become available, or a candidate mentions a new project within his or her company and they’re short-staffed, etc.

 

Recruiting Administration

 

Coordinate Candidate Technical Interviews:

·       Identify and prepare the interviewers (with candidate resume, work samples, potential opportunity background)

·       Establish date/time/format of interview

·       Set up Webex, GO-To Meeting, Skype, if appropriate

·       Follow-up on results; store in Salesforce and archive on company network to ensure candidate record is complete

·       Provide weekly reports of candidates teched/results of technical interviews/candidates slated for following week

 

Reference Checks and Profile Creation:

·       Conduct two reference checks per candidate, store results in Salesforce 

·       Build CARA brand through contacts/discussions with references

·       Create, maintain and update consultant profiles, as needed

 

Database Administration:

     Maintain Candidate Information in Salesforce.com database

·       Enter candidate information, profiles, technical skills

·       Scrub data, as required

·       Run reports and track progress

 

Team Engagement

 

Participation:

·       Attend and participate in bi-weekly whiteboard meetings and weekly staff meetings

·       Present weekly status report on total number of leads, number initially screened, who is assigned to whom, and which candidates are entering the quality sourcing and screening process

·       Participate in recruitment knowledge sharing and best practices

·       Other recruiting duties as assigned

 

Skills Required:

·       Produces excellent quality and timeliness of work, and achieves results with little oversight

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills

·       Attention to detail/solid organizational skills

·       Adept at Social Media tools/technology

·       Ability to build rapport with potential business consultants/clients

·       Experience with Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

·       Experience with database theory and technology a plus
