Robert Half Financial Services Group is looking for finance professionals with banking, brokerage, investment insurance and/or mortgage experience to join our business development and recruitment team in the role of a Recruiting Manager (Financial Services). This opportunity is specifically with the Robert Half Financial Services Group Placement Services division, specializing in servicing full-time career opportunities within the Toronto financial services market. Reporting to the Division Director, responsibilities for the Recruiting Manager will include:
- Developing and growing a client base and new business opportunities, marketing our services via telephone and in-person meetings with new and existing clients to expand the utilization of our services;
- Making recommendations to clients regarding candidates available to best meet the needs indicated by the client;
- Delivering outstanding customer service to clients and candidates;
- Strategic planning with teammates to accomplish business growth goals;
- Participating with industry and local trade associations to solidify the presence of Robert Half Financial Services Group within the local finance, financial services and accounting community.
Qualifications:
As a Recruiting Manager with Robert Half Financial Services Group, you will receive the best training, tools and technology to assist you in developing your business. Individuals work in a team environment while being held accountable for individual growth targets. A combination of recruiting, account development and account management skills are required.
Candidates to meet consideration for the role of Recruiting Manager will have self-confidence, perseverance, excellent communication skills and a high sense of urgency. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a strong desire to succeed and an ability to leverage financial services experience to manage and grow his/her business. Experience in the financial services sector with a solid knowledge of back, middle and front office operations is desired. A post-secondary University Degree in Finance (or a related field) is required; an advanced degree in Economics, Mathematics or Risk Management is preferred; post-graduate qualification as an MBA or CFA is a definite asset.
