Recruiting Manager Job in Clearwater, Florida US

 

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the strategic delivery of all facets of talent acquisition throughout the organization to ensure alignment with and accountability for meeting departmental and corporate objectives.  Will define the infrastructure and culture to drive practices for sourcing and selecting the best possible talent.  This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. Liaise with key stakeholders to define human capital strategies surrounding hiring.  Develop a high performance management team to execute strategies.   

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·         Develop and implement strategic recruiting plans in alignment with corporate objectives.

·         Responsible for recruiting budget.

·         Perform gap needs analysis to ensure alignment with business units and implement closure plans were opportunities are identified.

·         Establish service level agreements with internal and external channels and design standards, metrics, performance criteria to drive talent acquisition.

·         Develop and communicate the value proposition for employees and applicants.

·         Ensure that hiring practices and transactional opportunities are aligned with our core competencies.

·         Manage all insourced/outsourced/partner relationships to drive effective sourcing, implementation and contract negotiations.

                                   

SUPERVISION RECEIVED/EXERCISED: Perform duties under general direction of the VP of Human Resources. Supervise work and activities of Recruiters.

 

SCOPE OF DECISIONS: Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ABILITIES REQUIRED:

 

Education and/or Experience

·              Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

·              2-5 years of overall experience in recruiting services

·              2-5 years supervisory or managerial experience

 

Math and Language Skills  

·         Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills sufficient to communicate and interact effectively with customers, co-workers and all levels of management

·         Excellent command of the English language, good use of grammar skills. Bilingual skills helpful

 

PC Skills

 

·         Typing skills and PC proficiency with knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, sufficient to create documents, spreadsheets and communicate via email

·         Knowledge of and ability to use PODS proprietary software, or willingness to learn in a timely manner

Physical Abilities

·         Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day; ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate. Vision sufficient to view small details on a monitor

·         Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; stoop, bend and lift boxes weighing up to 35 lbs

·         Ability to hear and to verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device

Other

·         Ability to travel (10%)

·         Ability to maintain a positive and respectful demeanor with customers, co-workers and management at all times

·         Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test, and random drug testing in compliance with company policy

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS: Climate controlled office environment during normal business hours. May be subjected to inclement seasonal weather conditions if position calls for working in a warehouse or factory environment, or traveling to/from various locations

Hours: Adhere to scheduled work times. Flexibility, additional hours and weekends may be required to meet business needs.
