We are now seeking to recruit an experienced Recruitment Consultant with a background in financial services to join our dynamic team where you will have real influence in our direction.
This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join a professional, friendly, successful and highly regarded company at a very tactical stage within our growth strategy, which has the potential to dominate its niche market. Role Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Developing new client relationships and become the Account Manager of selected clients
- Establishing/maintaining good working relationships with clients, leading all client meetings and presentations where required
- Work closely with our clients to understand their requirements
- Research and resource appropriate candidates, arranging interviews, managing and closing the offer stage through to successful completion
- Reviewing applications and meeting with candidates to evaluate their career path and add value by providing dedicated professional career guidance
- Sourcing candidates through the appropriate channels -including headhunting, referrals, advertising, databases etc
- Matching candidates with current roles and client requirements
- Contributing towards the company’s overall revenue target by being an active member of a team, sharing information and providing support where appropriate to colleagues
- Researching the market and ensuring that you develop the depth and breadth of knowledge required to build towards being a subject matter expert within financial services technology
Qualification / Skills Required
- Minimum of 3 years proven track record within resourcing and or recruitment
- Solid knowledge of financial services with particular emphasis on technology is required while experience in recruiting and resourcing is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of Investment Management, Asset Management would be a distinct advantage
- Demonstrate the ability to build strong business relationships
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally
- Must be able to demonstrate ambition, drive and over-achievement
- The ability to liaise at all levels within the client from operational level all the way through to strategic level
- Ability to rapidly assimilate the knowledge required in different situations
- Ability to gather complex information from multiple sources and summarise succinctly and coherently in both a written and verbal form
- University degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
You will need to demonstrate drive, motivation and professionalism and due to the nature of this role you must have excellent communication skills. Teamwork is core to the role along with a “passion for the detail”. Passion and enthusiasm to work within a people-oriented business is key.
